Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows -Everything that’s wonderful is what I feel when we’re together

I loved the shampoo and conditioner.

Ok, well, it was really just the sunshine part of that song’s title that is relevant to this days post.

Tuesday started with 9 laps of deck 4. 3 laps is one mile, so I was ready for breakfast after. Today looked to be a much better day as far as seeing sunshine was concerned.

I realised what a judgey person I am when I passed the few dissenters walking in the direction the signs tell us not to, for the safety of everyone.

I sat in Cabanas ( the buffet restaurant) with an early breakfast, only to remember that we were going to try Tritons for breakfast this morning.

My first breakfast, at Cabanas

So I gobbled up my smoothie and fruit salad and bacon and coffee, and skedaddled to Tritons to meet the others. It is a sit-down service breakfast with much of the same menu as at Cabanas, a tad more refined. I saw cream-of-wheat actually listed on the menu. I flagged it with our server, but when he tried to see if they actually had any, it turned out they only serve porridge. *sigh*.

Oatmeal is not nearly as delicious as cream-of-wheat.

I enjoyed an omelet, a yoghurt fruit bowl and coffee.

Not too long after breakfast I mentioned to Pam that we might want to read out on the 18+ terrace outside Cove cafe with a real coffee.

That plan lasted all of 10 minutes before some of our other family members joined us and we played cards and snacked on contraband roasted corn.

We attempted some Pixar trivia and bombed out magestically

We were excited to have lunch at Tiana’s restaurant today.

Bo’s fish cakes appetiser

This was the meal of our cruise so far.  A bruschetta- crunchy with olive oil and goats cheese and maybe some marinated bits of tomato. I could hae scoffed down five of these scrumptious delights.

For me, the dish of the entire cruise.

Also on offer was a non alcoholic pina colada  with salted caramel which for me turned out to be the star of the show. So fresh and flavoursome, I had mine and helped Flynn out with his.

Basically a salted caramel non- alcoholic pina colada.

Some of us went to watch the live action  version of little mermaid movie at the cinema.

Hi Captain Mickey!

Then more trivia, and fun until a stellar dinner and surprise at our Animator’s Palate dinner.

My dinner at Animator’s Palate
My sugar-free dessert!

Our servers all disappeared and then came back with Mickey on a big song and dance.

The lights in this spot look just like delicate jellyfish tendrils.

We had a magic show tonight. Jeremy Tan’s hands did magical things to his cards and he blew us all away with his Rubik’s cube.

I went up to deck 10 to save us all good seats for the marvel show, but the back part of the deck that we had been told wouldgive us the best view of the show was blocked off.

The wind!

The place was packed. Not a marvel fan really, most of it went over my head. We were whipped mercilessly by  the wind. The show ended  in an amazing crescendo and then fireworks capped off a fabulous night.

WordPress did not allow me to add the video, so here is a screenshot of the video. 🙂

We returned to our room to find this glorious creation!

What/who do you guess it is? My guess of King Julien was panned….something about it not being a Disney character. Is it a rabbit then?
